Stacey Lamont

Stacey Lamont grew up in a small town in Northern Michigan and graduated from Kalamazoo College with a double major in History and Economics. After college, she decided to move West and attend Lewis and Clark law school, intending to focus her career on environmental law. While in law school, however, she discovered a love for the courtroom and criminal defense while working as a certified law student at Multnomah Defenders, Inc. in downtown Portland. Since becoming a member of the Oregon State Bar in 2006, she practices primarily in Washington County, Oregon and the greater Portland metropolitan area in the areas of criminal defense, juvenile dependency, and family law. She has continued her passion for helping people in the most difficult moments of their life by representing parents, children, grandparents, and other parties in just about every aspect of juvenile court imaginable, and has assisted clients in navigating the complex and emotional world of dependency, delinquency, adoption, and termination of parental rights cases. She is a zealous advocate and experienced litigator and has significant trial experience in both misdemeanors and felonies, focusing primarily on DUII and domestic violence cases as well as assisting people in navigating divorce and custody issues. Outside of work, Stacey couches the Sunset High School mock trial team and enjoys cooking, gardening, and reading science fiction.
